The roof of K3 was designed with a large exhaust space capped with thick concrete panels, designed to absorb and dissipate bomb blasts. This took a direct hit from the largest Allied bomb available at the time, and the building was almost completely unscathed. (at Base de Sous-Marins Keroman)
